Our headliner group is The Paperboys, a Canadian folk music band from Vancouver, Canada, that formed in 1991 by Tom Landa, whose Canadian mother has Irish heritage. They will play traditional Irish music for the Friday, March 8th evening concert at Beall Concert Hall with four musicians. The Paperboys have extensively toured both continents, performing in England, Germany, Switzerland, Norway, Scotland, Ireland, France, and Austria. The Paperboys have won the 1998 and 2000 West Coast Music Award and the 2001 Juno Awards. On Saturday, there will be workshops taught by The Paperboys musicians and they will also play traditional Irish music for the Ceili (Irish social dance).
